Paulo Renato Ferreira, Artecola Química · Chile
Paulo Renato Ferreira was General Manager of Artecola Química Chile, a subsidiary of the Brazilian company specialized in chemical solutions for industry and construction. In this role he led commercial and expansion operations in the Chilean market, integrating his experience in regional sales, operations management and international relations in more than fifteen Latin American countries. His approach combined multicultural leadership, B2B and B2C business development, key account management and export strategies to increase profitability in highly competitive industrial markets.
Leading the expansion into 15 countries taught me that every market needs a different kind of listening.
Before taking on general management at Artecola, he served as Regional Sales Manager for LATAM, leading international relations with strategic clients and designing penetration plans for new South American markets. His work focused on profitable growth, building regional alliances and implementing sales strategies adapted to multicultural realities.
Exports don't scale with product alone; they scale with culture and processes.
Previously, Paulo worked as Senior Manager for the Southern Cone at dss+, where he managed operational and industrial consulting projects in Chile, focused on process transformation, leading diverse teams and improving business performance. At SIG Combibloc, a multinational packaging solutions company, he held various positions for almost six years, including Sales Manager for the Andean region and Service Account Manager for Chile, Argentina and Ecuador. There he coordinated service contracts, after-sales, production line performance and technical management with a strong results orientation.
The key to regional expansion was combining commercial vision with operational discipline.
His technical expertise was consolidated as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt in leadership roles in quality, continuous improvement and technical support at DuPont, where he also managed innovation, product development, technical support and marketing projects in Brazil. He began his career at Unilever as a manufacturing analyst and at Servatis as a chemical engineering intern, acquiring early on an operational, plant-floor perspective that accompanied him throughout his executive development.
Operational efficiency starts with respect for data.
He is a Chemical Engineer from the Universidade de São Paulo, with an MBA in Industrial Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). He also holds a postgraduate degree in Polymer Engineering from Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, and has completed extension programs in Marketing and Sales at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and in Commercial Management at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His trilingual profile (Portuguese, English and Spanish), together with his certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt and Master Black Belt) and sales management, make him a well-rounded executive capable of connecting strategy, operations and culture to transform growing industrial organizations.
