The textile future will be regenerative or it will not be.

Lorenzo Ortiz

He also served as Operations Director at Neofibers, a company that developed sustainable luxury textile products based on the biodiversity of the Peruvian Amazon. From his role, he brought together responsible supply chains and promoted regenerative practices in a textile industry that has traditionally been resource-intensive.

Innovating in textiles means understanding the origin of the fiber, not just the final product.

Lorenzo Ortiz

In addition, he founded Redesign Lab, Peru's first venture studio focused on the design, financing and scaling of startups with a STEM and sustainability focus. Through this initiative, he promoted an entrepreneurial ecosystem geared toward systemic innovation and applied science, integrating technology with impact.

For more than a decade, Lorenzo worked at TASA – Grupo Breca, one of the largest fishing companies in the world. There he held multiple positions in areas such as engineering, operations and product development, eventually becoming Head of Operations. He led sustainability projects, redesigned operating processes and connected products derived from sustainable fishing with international markets. His time in units such as Omega and Fishmeal & Fish Oil established him as a technical benchmark with a strategic vision in complex industrial sectors.

It's not about reducing harm, it's about generating positive impact.

Lorenzo Ortiz

He was selected as a Singularity University Fellow in the Buenos Aires chapter, where he applied exponential technologies such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and robotics to solve social and environmental challenges in the region. He was also part of winning teams in competitions such as Start-Up Perú and Start Tel Aviv.

Our scaling model is based on partnerships, not on volume.

Lorenzo Ortiz

Academically, he completed an Executive Master's in Operations Management at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, as well as specialized programs in Business Analytics at MIT, Process Management at CENTRUM, and executive education at INCAE Business School. He also strengthened his communication skills at Universidad del Pacífico.
