Biography

Gino Brunetto, Grupo Forestal Río Claro · Chile

Gino Brunetto was General Manager of Grupo Forestal Río Claro in Chile, where he led the operational, financial and cultural transformation of a conglomerate made up of four companies and more than 300 employees. Under his leadership, the organization strengthened its position in markets such as impregnated poles and pellets, while improving its financial efficiency, industrial productivity and strategic planning. Through initiatives such as the implementation of a crime prevention model, the professionalization of the supply chain and an ambitious debt reduction strategy, he achieved tangible results that consolidated his profile as a transformational executive in complex contexts.

Redesigning the debt structure was the first step to turning the company around.

Gino Brunetto

His career began in financial planning and industrial engineering at Coca-Cola Andina, and he went on to leadership positions at Agrosuper, where he played a key role in management control, product costing, budgeting and financial projections. Later, at Publiguías, he managed the company's financial and technological transformation, including the implementation of SAP and a 25% reduction in working capital, achieving substantial improvements in workplace climate and financial performance.

During almost seven years as CFO at CyD Ingeniería, he built from scratch the management control system for a company with more than 2,000 employees and a strong presence in large-scale industrial projects. There, he led processes of internationalization, technological change, digitalization and financial governance, managing assets of more than 20 million dollars and reporting directly to the executive committee.

Every serious financial plan starts with a brutally honest diagnosis.

Gino Brunetto

During his time at PF Alimentos as CFO and digital transformation leader, he managed budgets, reduced delinquency in accounts receivable, automated key processes through RPA, and redesigned credit risk policies for more than 50,000 active customers. He also drove compliance, operational efficiency and process rationalization initiatives that translated into cost reductions worth millions.

Gino Brunetto

Between 2020 and 2024, he was CEO of Grupo Luz Agro and Viña Melozal, where he managed retail stores and winemaking facilities, achieving a 50% increase in sales revenue, a 60% reduction in churn rate and a 95% decrease in shrinkage. He redesigned the company, led a team of more than 50 people and positioned the company as the first in the private sector in its province to adopt the 40-hour work week, earning recognition for its progressive and people-centered approach.

I divested unproductive assets to improve ROA.

Gino Brunetto

At the same time, Gino founded and runs Rho Consult, a boutique strategic advisory firm for mid-sized companies that need high-level executive capabilities without committing to full-time structures. From this platform, he has developed corporate governance, strategic planning and executive leadership models for companies undergoing transformation.

He is an Industrial Civil Engineer and holds an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He complemented his education with studies in executive negotiation at Harvard University, sustainability at PUCV and corporate finance at the Universidad de Chile. His leadership style is characterized as “hands on”, with critical thinking, a systemic view, and a deep ability to manage both cultural change and operational profitability.

Every peso that isn't lost in operations is a peso that improves EBITDA.
